| Tonsystem finde ich OK.

| Äquidistant ist von der Bedeutung her korrekt, kann man in jedem Fall als Synonym verwenden. Allerdings scheint mir im Musikbereich das Wort "gleichstufig" gebräuchlicher - das legen jedenfalls die Treffer in Google bei der entsprechenden Stichwortsuche nah.
